Russian Language Lab: Amelia Parkes recites Pushkin’s “The Tale of the Dead Princess and the Seven Knights”
Amelia is a homeschooled student. She lives in Alabama and has been studying Russian for three years. Amelia received two silver medals at the Russian Essay Contest in 2014 and 2015 and two gold medals at the Illinois Olympiada of Spoken Russian in 2015 and 2016. This year (2016), Amelia was chosen as the best non-heritage student at the Illinois Olympiada of Spoken Russian. She has just been nominated for the Russian Scholar Laureate award.
